Catalog notes

William A. Sparkman’s county-surveyor map puts Pasco’s roads, railroads, schools, power lines, villages, and administrative districts onto a township-and-range framework. For local readers, its appeal lies in recognizing a county before its present development pattern. For surveyors, it shows how a single sheet can connect the legal land grid with the practical infrastructure people needed to understand and navigate their surroundings.
